This book was very touching and I highly recommend it.
It's a tragic story of a girl who finds herself an orphan due to a terrible car accident. She is also badly injured and must decide if she has the strength to fight through it all. If I Stay makes you think twice about all the little blessings we often pass up everyday. A definite tearjerker.
I particularly liked the flashbacks. It allows you to see typical life experiences in a new light. How important and influential our words can be and how much our family and friends influence us. At the edge of death, what will you remember? How will you have changed someones life?

I will say that the book contains some swearing. There are also a few situations showing loose morals, so if this offends you, you may want to skip reading this one.
